With a playoff win on the line, San Dieguito Academy rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mission Bay Buccaneers a 3-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won 17 matches in a row.

San Dieguito Academy pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those ten contests. As for Mission Bay, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3.
