Recap: Montgomery Vikings vs. Analy Tigers
The Montgomery Vikings won the last time they faced the Analy Tigers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Montgomery enjoyed a cozy 46-32 victory over Analy. Given Montgomery's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Analy is ranked 387th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Olivia Dukes and Shawnessy Conway-O'Neill certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Dukes scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and two blocks, while Conway-O'Neill scored nine points.
Montgomery is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Analy, they dropped their record down to 10-16 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Montgomery does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Analy also has no future games currently scheduled.
