Gretna dropped down to 12-4 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 8-1 to the Millard North Mustangs. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Gretna saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenadie Barton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

As for Millard North, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-2. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

On Millard North's side, Lily Johnson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Closman, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Gretna wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Gretna East on the 9th. As for Millard North, they have also already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Papillion-LaVista on the 6th.
