Elbert County posted their closest win since April 11, 2025 on Thursday. They skirted past the Lincoln County Red Devils 6-4. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Elbert County's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cheyvis Mclendon, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Jose Rodrigues was another, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
