It's playoff time, and Pequea Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on Masterman with a sharp 61-39 win on Friday. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 22 points or more this season.

Masterman's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jocelyn Goldstein, who posted 15 points. That was a full 38.5% of Masterman's points, marking the tenth time in a row Goldstein has put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Brunelli, who had ten points.

Pequea Valley's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Masterman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

Coming up, Pequea Valley will challenge Schuylkill Haven at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Masterman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
