Soccer Recap: Evans Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakeside, Evans was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Bradwell Institute Tigers. Given Evans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Bradwell Institute are ranked 201st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Treven McNall and Roger Portillo scored both of Evans' goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.
