Softball Recap: Mansfield Summit Takes a Loss

Mansfield Summit fell victim to Kennedale and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mansfield Summit saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adriana Harper, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Mansfield Summit's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Kennedale, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, Mansfield Summit will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Grand Prairie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kennedale, they will face off against Cleburne at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
