Roy/Mosquero's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners 80-37. The victory continues a trend for the Blue/Lady Blue in their matchups with the Roadrunners: they've now won five in a row.

When it comes to explaining why New Mexico School for the Deaf lost, don't look at Santiago Lopez. Despite the final result, he rushed for 136 yards and two scores on only 11 carries, and also picked up 70 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Lopez is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Tyler Todorovic was another key player, throwing for 170 yards and three touchdowns.

The win got Roy/Mosquero back to even at 1-1. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Roy/Mosquero will venture away from home to take on Grady at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. The Blue/Lady Blue will need to watch out since the Bronchos have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, they will welcome Oklahoma School for the Deaf at 2:00 p.m. on the 20th.
