Baseball Recap: Trinity Prep Takes a Loss

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Saturday as neither Trinity Prep nor Covenant Christian Academy made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Lions lost 14-3 to the Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Parker Lynn made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Trinity Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Covenant Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Prep will welcome New Creation Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Georgia HomeSchool at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
