Softball Recap: Pace Academy Comes Up Short

Pace Academy couldn't beat Cartersville on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Knights took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes.

Pace Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Cartersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season.

Pace Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cartersville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-3 defeat against Harris County on the 31st.
