Peachtree Ridge took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They beat Berkmar by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Lions were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Brookwood entered their match against Duluth on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Brookwood fell just short of Duluth by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Broncos couldn't push the score so high this time.

Peachtree Ridge pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four contests. As for Brookwood, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
