Leuzinger has gone 10-0 against Centennial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Leuzinger Olympians will host the Centennial Apaches at 4:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Centennial will have to contend with a Leuzinger team hungry for a victory, something the squad hasn't seen since December 17. Leuzinger came up short against Santa Monica on Wednesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Olympians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 870th, while the Vikings are ranked 369th).

Meanwhile, Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Culver City an easy 11-0 win.

Leuzinger's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 2-10-5. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3-4.

Leuzinger took their victory against Centennial when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 11-0. Will Leuzinger repeat their success, or does Centennial have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
