Soccer Game Preview: Azusa vs. Cabrillo

The Azusa Aztecs will face off against the Cabrillo Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Azusa comes in on five and Cabrillo on three.

Azusa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand AGBU a 2-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Cabrillo brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They had just enough and edged Arrowhead Christian out 5-4. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by just one goal.

Azusa's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for Cabrillo, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
