Softball Recap: Northside Eagles vs. Bradwell Institute Tigers
Northside put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Bradwell Institute Tigers as they made off with a 17-5 victory. Fans of the Eagles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Madi Burch made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Kadence Cooley was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two triples, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
