Soccer Recap: Douglass Comes Up Short

Douglass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Cedar Grove Saints. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Douglass it sure didn't stay that way.

Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cedar Grove, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Douglass wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Riverdale on the 20th. As for Cedar Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-3 defeat against North Clayton on the 20th.
