Football Recap: Udall Takes a Loss

Udall extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They had to suffer through a 44-8 loss at the hands of the West Elk Patriots. The Eagles lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 72-0 score last time.

West Elk's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

West Elk can attribute much of their success to Jaxson Bogdahn, who threw for 105 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 32 yards and one touchdown. Trace Toon helped out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Coming up, Udall will face off against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Elk, they will challenge Oswego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
