Peach County never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Monroe Golden Tornadoes 18-0. Considering the Trojans have won six contests by more than 11 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Alyssa Crozier was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Taleyah Marable and Jaiden Carroll did most of the damage at the plate: Marable went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles, while Carroll went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Carroll a new career-high. Addison Dickerson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
