Basketball Recap: Gracemont Takes a Loss

Gracemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 62-27 loss at the hands of the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders. The Lions lost against the Crusaders in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 40-27 score last time.

Gracemont's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Corn Bible Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Gracemont won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southwest Covenant at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest Covenant will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Gracemont surely won't give up without a fight. As for Corn Bible Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Taloga at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
