Softball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays.

Wayne saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avree Abler, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Ashland-Greenwood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-10.

As of now, neither Wayne nor the Bluejays have any future games scheduled.
