Basketball Recap: Bear River Victorious + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Colfax, Bear River was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They managed a 59-53 victory over the Marysville Indians. The game was the first time the Bruins have beaten the Indians on their court since February 4, 2022.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexis Collins, who went 5-for-8 en route to 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Collins now owns an excellent 48.4% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Abigail Pietz, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten assists.

The win got Bear River back to even at 10-10. As for Marysville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
