Basketball Game Preview: Rim of the World Fighting Scots vs. Notre Dame Titans

Rim of the World is 0-4 against Notre Dame since February of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Rim of the World Fighting Scots will welcome the Notre Dame Titans at 4:00 p.m.

Rim of the World is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 69-18 defeat at the hands of Fontana. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1267th, while the Steelers are ranked 434th).

Jordan Dever was Rim of the World's leading scorer, having posted six points.

Meanwhile, everything went Notre Dame's way against Bloomington on Wednesday as Notre Dame made off with a 45-24 victory. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Rim of the World's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Notre Dame, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Rim of the World ended up a good deal behind Notre Dame when the teams last played back in January of 2024, losing 48-32. Can Rim of the World avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
