Steven Heise Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Oil City's Steven Heise, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Heise rushed for 188 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This season, Heise has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 53.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 1.11 rushing yards per game.

Jordan Lawrence Dazzles in Meadville Win
Jordan Lawrence put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Meadville is 4-1 when Lawrence posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Warren's probably not too fond of Lawrence given he always seems to get the better of them. Lawrence rushed for 223 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Dragons duked it out back in October of 2023.

DaZarie Carson put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
Cathedral Prep moved to 6-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Carson and Cathedral Prep will play host again on Friday to welcome Farrell, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.

Zietz Posts Huge Game in 39-32 Defeat
General McLane had to settle for second on Friday, but Isaac Zietz sure wasn't going down easily. Cathedral Prep had no answer to Zietz as he threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards and two touchdowns.
If history really does repeat itself, Zietz might just drop another big game when he faces off against Meadville on Thursday. Zietz threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out last Thursday.

Teige Berger Makes It Two for General Mclane
Keeping Zietz company is Teige Berger, a fellow General McLane player. He rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Berger and General McLane will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Meadville at 7:00 p.m. on November 8th.
