Softball Recap: Wilburton Comes Up Short

Wilburton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-0 to the Perry Maroons.

Wilburton's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Perry, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Coming up, Wilburton will venture away from home to take on Lone Grove at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Perry, they are taking a road trip to square off against Dale at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Maroons surely won't give up without a fight.
