Trinity Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Whitewater proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 6-3. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Lions last Thursday, they had to take a 10-5 defeat.

Whitewater has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity Christian, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitewater will welcome Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Trinity Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Upson-Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
