Basketball Game Preview: Tehachapi Warriors vs. Rosamond Roadrunners + How To Watch

The Tehachapi Warriors just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Rosamond Roadrunners at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Rosamond will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Tehachapi extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 70-48 margin over Shafter. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rosamond). They breezed past Foothill to the tune of 71-29 on Wednesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Roadrunners with their most commanding win of the season.

Rosamond found their leader in sophomore Jaylen Lopez, who posted 23 points. Lopez's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Xaveaire Givens was another key player, putting up ten points.

Tehachapi's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Rosamond, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Tehachapi beat Rosamond 70-59 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
