Softball Recap: Albia Victorious

Albia's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Twin Cedars Sabers a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Blue Demons, who have now won 16 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Albia's victory bumped their record up to 25-1. As for Twin Cedars, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Albia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Fairfield on the 5th. Twin Cedars has also already played their next contest (against Melcher-Dallas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
