Soccer Recap: Elida Takes a Loss

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Elida was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against the Memorial Roughriders, falling 5-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Elida couldn't quite close it out.

Elida's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-3. As for Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 12-2-3.

Coming up, Elida will head out to challenge Bellefontaine at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Memorial, they will be taking part in a tournament against Norwalk at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
