Softball Recap: Johns Creek Find Success + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seckinger, Johns Creek was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the Blessed Trinity Titans 9-8. For the Gladiators, this counts as revenge for the 10-2 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Allie Lafon, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Zelda Arthur was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Johns Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Johns Creek's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Blessed Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Johns Creek will square off against Gainesville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blessed Trinity, they will take on Kell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
