Volleyball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Iota Bulldogs. The Hornets were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2016.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Iota, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Franklin will challenge West St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iota, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bourgeois on the 11th.
