Softball Recap: Westmoore Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elgin on Saturday, Westmoore came back down to earth. The Jaguars fell 5-1 to the Choctaw Yellowjackets on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost four in a row.

Westmoore now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Choctaw, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-3 record this season.

Westmoore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 win against Charles Page on the 8th. Hopefully Choctaw paid attention to the Jaguars' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Jaguars on Thursday.
