Baseball Game Preview: Drew vs. Mays Raiders

Drew will head out to face off against the Mays Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 25 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Drew and three for Mays.

Drew came up short against Creekside on Wednesday, falling 16-1.

Meanwhile, Mays lost 15-5 to Jackson on Wednesday.

TyReon Byner was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Mays is 2-1 when Byner posts two or more runs, but 3-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Tyson Williams, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Mays' loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Drew, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
