Soccer Game Preview: Roseland University Prep vs. Kelseyville

The Roseland University Prep Knights will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Kelseyville Knights at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Roseland University Prep fell victim to Sonoma Academy and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Coyotes, falling 5-0. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Kelseyville kept a clean sheet against Cloverdale on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Knights were the better team in the second half.

Having lost for the first time this season, Roseland University Prep fell to 5-1-2. As for Kelseyville, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 5-6-1.

Roseland University Prep came up short against Kelseyville in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Roseland University Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
