Freedom Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Wilmington Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Freedom Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9 runs per game this season.

Another player making a difference was Rylan Miller, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Freedom Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .844. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Wilmington Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-3 to Bethel Christian Academy.
Amelia Naylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and six unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, Wilmington Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bayleigh Robinson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Freedom Christian Academy's victory was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.1 runs over those games. As for Wilmington Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Freedom Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .541. However, it's not like Wilmington Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .497. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Freedom Christian Academy took their victory against Wilmington Christian Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Freedom Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
