Basketball Recap: Bristol Comes Up Short

Bristol lost against MAST Community Charter back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bristol Warriors had to suffer through a 50-13 loss at the hands of the MAST Community Charter Panthers. The Warriors were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Leading MAST Community Charter to victory were Rylie Fitzsimmons and Tierney Hamilton. Fitzsimmons dropped a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds, while Hamilton went 8 of 11 to rack up 18 points. That's the most boards Fitzsimmons has posted since back in December of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Bristol and nudges their season record down to 1-13. As for MAST Community Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Bristol does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for MAST Community Charter, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers take on the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
