Football Recap: Honesdale Takes a Loss

Honesdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 49-8 loss at the hands of the Valley View Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Cougars are ranked 126th).

Honesdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Valley View, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Honesdale will venture away from home to take on Western Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley View, they will welcome Scranton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
