Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Tigers vs. Marshall Barristers

Lincoln is 0-10 against Marshall since December of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Lincoln Tigers will challenge the Marshall Barristers at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lincoln's tournament run continued when they took on Beverly Hills on Saturday. Lincoln breezed by Beverly Hills to the tune of 52-25. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Marshall's game on Monday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Point Loma 41-39.

Marshall's record now sits at 4-5. As for Lincoln, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Lincoln came up short against Marshall in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 53-42. Thankfully for Lincoln, Jeda Taylor (who posted 20 points in addition to seven blocks and five boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
