Softball Recap: Festus Comes Up Short

Festus lost against Chaffee back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 8-4 to the Red Devils. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keeleigh Hankins and Ava Oberle did some serious damage despite the final result: Hankins went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI, while Oberle went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base was Hankins' first of the season.

Festus' defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Chaffee, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

As of now, neither Festus nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
