Basketball Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Triumphs

Culver City came into Monday's contest looking for another win against Trinity Classical Academy, but Noa Pe?a wouldn't allow it. The Knights enjoyed a cozy 55-40 victory over the Centaurs on Monday with plenty of help from Pe?a, who went 8-for-19 to rack up 25 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Trinity Classical Academy's points.

Trinity Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Culver City, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Trinity Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-52 loss against Granada Hills Charter on the 9th. As for Culver City, they will take on Highland at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
