Softball Recap: Piedmont Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Piedmont Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Tiftarea Academy Panthers by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Cougars' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Piedmont Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolbee Osborne, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Piedmont Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Tiftarea Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

As of now, neither Piedmont Academy nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
