It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Quincy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Weed Cougars. Quincy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win (which was Quincy's sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those six matches. As for Weed, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Quincy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 loss against Tulelake on the 23rd. Weed does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
