Softball Recap: Lamar County Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lamar County's offense. They came up short against the Morgan County Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lamar County's defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Morgan County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Lamar County nor Morgan County have any future games scheduled.
