Softball Game Preview: North Union Warriors vs. Belmond-Klemme Broncos

North Union is a perfect 9-0 against Belmond-Klemme since June of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will take on the Broncos at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, North Union got the win against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura by a conclusive 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Belmond-Klemme made easy work of Northwood-Kensett on Tuesday and carried off an 11-5 win. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win made it two in a row for North Union and bumps their season record up to 14-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Belmond-Klemme, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

North Union took their victory against Belmond-Klemme in their previous matchup on June 4th by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
