Softball Recap: Whitesboro's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against McCurtain on Thursday, Whitesboro came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Talihina Golden Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Whitesboro fell to 3-1. As for Talihina, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitesboro is headed away from home for the first time to take on Stuart at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Talihina, they will take on Heavener at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Golden Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
