Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Apalachee). They never let the Alcovy Tigers get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Apalachee's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-6-1. As for Alcovy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Apalachee challenge Jackson County at 7:30 p.m. on March 21st. As for Alcovy, they will welcome Salem at 7:30 p.m. on March 20th.
