Bethel Christian suffers sixth straight loss on the road

The Bethel Christian Kings suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Packinghouse Christian Academy, falling 53-22. Bethel Christian has not had much luck with Packinghouse Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Kaila Ellison was Bethel Christian's leading scorer, having posted 12 points. Hailey Havlicheck held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Bethel Christian bumped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.2 points per game. As for Packinghouse Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Bethel Christian will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Packinghouse Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against The Grove School at 3:30 p.m. The Grove School is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
