Football Recap: Central York Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Central York couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were outmatched by the Harrisburg Cougars and fell 38-10. The Panthers were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the three games prior), but the Cougars' defense proved too tough.

Brooklyn Nace threw for 143 yards and one TD. Demarcus Murray was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Legend Johnson rushed for 34 yards.

Messiah Mickens produced another solid effort rushing for 228 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry for Harrisburg. With that strong performance, Mickens is now averaging an impressive 116 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Mikal Shank Jr, who threw for 184 yards and three TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes.

Central York moved to 11-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Harrisburg, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
