Softball Recap: Pius X Comes Up Short

Pius X lost against Marian back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Thunderbolts fell 10-5 to the Crusaders. The Thunderbolts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kendal Heimes made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Pius X's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Marian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

Pius X wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Lincoln Northeast on the 27th. As for Marian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-0 loss against Lincoln Southwest on the 27th.
