The American Eagles came out on top against the Foothill Falcons by a score of 49-36 thanks in part to Shi, who went 11 of 25 on her way to 25 points in addition to eight steals and five boards. The contest was her 14th in a row with at least ten points.

American pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Foothill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

American has already played their next game, a 37-33 win against Mission San Jose on the 5th. As for Foothill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-23 defeat against California on the 4th.
