Football Recap: Lake City Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Lake City's offense. They were outmatched by the Red Wing Wingers and fell 48-0. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Lake City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Red Wing, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Looking ahead, Lake City will challenge Pine Island at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Red Wing, they will square off against Goodhue at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed nine points per game this season, so the Wingers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
