Basketball Recap: Tahquitz Piles Up the Points Against West Valley

Tahquitz's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They breezed by the West Valley Mustangs to the tune of 68-41. That 27 point margin sets a new team best for the Titans this season.

Tahquitz is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for West Valley, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tahquitz has already played their next contest (against Palm Desert), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Valley will square off against San Jacinto at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. San Jacinto will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something West Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
